The Green Living Show 2008

An integrated designer, developer and builder of quality sustainable and customizable residential urban condominiums, TAS DesignBuild has teamed up with The Green Living Show in an effort to bolster awareness of its newly unveiled Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives while continuing to be at the forefront of the ‘Green-Movement’.
Held at the Direct Energy Centre, The Green Living Show is one of today’s leading environmental showcases bringing awareness and solutions to society’s green-conscious consumers. The show is proud to announce Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. as its keynote speaker. This year's theme continues The Green Living Show’s commitment to enlighten consumers about their environmental footprint, so it seems appropriate that one of the North America's most prominent defenders of the environment would keynote this important event. The show will be held from April 25-27, with Mr. Kennedy's speech scheduled for April 26 at 10:30 a.m. His speech will follow an exclusive brunch with prominent guests including Premier Dalton McGuinty, Councilor Adam Vaughan, and Mayor David Miller hosted by TAS DesignBuild.
“We are extremely proud to host Mr. Kennedy, leading policy makers, and industry leaders at this brunch,” said Mazyar Mortazavi, principal of TAS DesignBuild. “His presence at the show signifies the importance of the need to address many of today’s eco-friendly concerns. The 2008 Green Living Show provides not only a forum but real solutions to the environmental challenges faced by the world today.” While addressing TAS DesignBuild’s commitment to its Corporate Social Responsibility vision going forward Mr. Mortazavi said, “Sustainability not only makes sense, it’s our responsibility to our world today and to the generations ahead. The idea of sustainability in business means lower emissions and energy savings for the entire planet - crucial to the future of the Green-Movement.”
Bringing Green Home, the TAS DesignBuild booth (#2016) is a customized vision of their commitment to their Four Pillars of Sustainability – social, cultural and economic activities, while reducing the environmental footprint of their developments over the short and long term. Situated behind the Urban Forest, the 3000 sq. ft environment is a unique, interactive, green experience that educates the consumer about sustainable building systems, construction waste diversion, water conservation and air quality. It also boasts a full service bar VIP Media Lounge.
For more information on TAS DesignBuild and its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives Mr. Mortazavi will be attending the show on Friday April 25, and will be available for interviews throughout the day in the TAS VIP Media Lounge.
